December 17, 2015 - Voted to pay Mike Alcorn $1000 for his opinions on what to do with Lone Star Elementary building and $577.50 to Mitch Cox for his clean up efforts there. April 21, 2016 - Voted to spend $5,000-$7,000 to spray for hydrilla in Lone Star Lake which is technically not even in the City. July 21, 2016 - Led the effort and voted for 5% increase in rates charged by Sanitation Solutions. August 18, 2016 - Led the effort and voted for another increase in property tax rate as well as the increase in garbage rates. October 16, 2016 - Voted to spend $6,112 on city Christmas decorations and give $1000 to Chamber of Commerce for Christmas decorations. October 20, 2016 - Voted to appoint Mitch Cox, who is a resident of the city of Daingerfield, as chairman of Lone Star's economic development corporation. Janurary 9, 2017 - Made the suggestion to spend $5,000 for a flag pole and deck at Rocky Point as well as $1,500 for clearing brush so people, "would have a place to go and take selfies."
