October 20, 2016 - Voted to appoint Mitch Cox, who is a resident of the city of Daingerfield, as chairman of Lone Star's economic development corporation. Janurary 9, 2017 - Made the suggestion to spend $5,000 for a flag pole and deck at Rocky Point as well as $1,500 for clearing brush so people, "would have a place to go and take selfies."
